Stimulating Companionship With Rolling Robot Through Gestural Animation

This was my CPSC 584 group research project. We were tasked to design a unique interaction with the Ollie robot. Initially, the project was to make Ollie as a pet, but it migrated towards portraying animation with Ollie. The unpublished research paper can be found below, which contains details of the design process, implementation as well as evaluation. I received an B+ for the project.
